Job Title: Business Analyst （BI/Reporting）

This is a critical position as a technology enabler around BI/Reporting and Data Warehouse and will work closely with all of business divisions and supporting functions and external vendors to manage and execute assigned projects and to manage assigned applications for supporting business analysis environment. The candidate will also ensure stability of assigned applications running and fulfill maintenance and change request from business side.

Responsibilities:

Gather/understand the business requirements and design implement enhance and maintain the BI/Reporting tools for Japan users.
Partner with internal IT BP （Business Partner） to understand the need from Divisions/Shared Services for data analytics and reporting.
Work with collaborating reginal team members （DSA: Digital Solutions Asia） for introducing reginal data management platform.
Support inquiries and fix issues on BI/Reporting tools from business partners.
Manage external vendors to support local applications and tools.
Document user manual and provide training for the BI/Reporting tool if required for Japan users.
Proactively identify areas where we need to improve data analytics capability and provide appropriate reporting and data view as required.
Take complex data issues methodologies and analysis results and communicate them to business partners including senior management in a manner that is relevant meaningful actionable and understandable.
Innovate to develop new and improved methods to establish data connectivity improve data quality and the communication of KPIs.

求める経験 :

Required Qualifications:

BS/BA degree （or higher） in Computer Science Engineering or related field required
3+ years of experience with programming languages such as Oracle SQL Server
3+ years of experience with SQL （or similar language aimed at querying relational databases）
Experience working with data visualization tools preferably Power BI
Self motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment.
Building strong relationships; excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills including written verbal and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Proven ability in a high growth business and developing teams to scale and deliver on commitments.
Experience manipulating large data sets through statistical software or other methods
Experience structuring data from disparate sources and integrating numerous data sets
Demonstrated ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets and succinctly articulate them to drive decision making
